Right To Play Volunteer, Karen Hutton introduced GiftTRAP to her family and extended family at the cottage outside of Toronto this weekend.

She said that one of the most funny moments was when her own husband Bob “gave” her a Model Train Set!!!

GiftTRAP Double Bills in Victoria!

We played twice over the weekend. Once with three of my buddies before our poker night and once with family after thanksgiving dinner.

We had a blast.

I kinda embarrased by wife’s brother because I was *way* better at choosing gifts for his wife than he was.

But she thought I wanted the Dominatrix (maybe I do, but I didn’t admit it .

Obviously we had a crazy fun time! (These were the moms!!)

Four friends, one house, a few snacks and a copy of GiftTRAP… These were the ingredients for a memorable side-splitting evening of fun here in Michigan. After a bit of a rough start teaching the new players the rules of the game, our gaggle of giggling ladies (two pairs of mothers and daughters) played from the evening of 7th to the early hours of the 8th.

We enjoyed ourselves so much that we plan on doing it again often, with the next play being very soon. Each walked away with insight into the other’s desires. Christmas shopping should be a whole lot easier this year! We collected $50 over the course of the evening for Right To Play.

Hi all!!  We played GiftTrap several times over the weekend with friends from three different counties!  It was great fun to play with the people we knew well, but we were also surprised how fun it was to play with people you don’t know well - it’s a great way to find out MORE about folks!! 

Funniest moment - when my husband ‘accidentally’ mixed up the tiles and gave the romantic weekend to ANOTHER woman, and gave me a beehive instead!!!  I’m still teasing him!!

After a quick trial Round to make sure we had the rules right we got off to a great game of GiftTrap.

With 8 players ranging form 11 years old to 74 years old everyone was in laughing.
The best comment of the evening being “how could you give that to her Dad before me, I am your Daughter”.

Everyone also learnt about that gift or dream that someone has and you never new about it.

Who would have thought that Grandma wanted her own climbing wall because she just went earlier in the year and thought it was a blast.

Great time had by all.

Dear GiftTRAP,

We had a great time playing your game.  The gift ideas are so varied and
clever.  Overall, we REALLY enjoyed the game. 

We played once with four players and again with eight players.  I think we all agreed that we liked
the eight player version better. 

We liked having more gifts to choose from.

We thought this was a great “get to know you better game” to play with our
friends.  It might on the other hand be difficult to play with total
strangers.

UK, France and under the Channel

This week-end we played in the UK, France and on the train going under the English Channel!

We had a great time.

We think we sold a copy to the man collecting the tickets. He didnt hang around long enough for a full game.

He’s going to Hamleys next week.

We could have sold a tonnes of copies in France.

The French just seem to love the debate.

We had a great time and raised $75.00 for Right to Play.

We had a blast!

We had a great time last night playing with 7 friends.

We were all huddled around the table trying to match gifts to get ahead.

Most of the rounds ended in laughter, while otheres ended with “what were you thinking?” or “I had no idea”.

It was an eye-opener for sure, and overall some great fun. And we ended the evening by raising $70 for Right to Play by auctioning off our game.
